tips: insurance, visa, passport, ...
OK guys, time for some serious stuff! Traveling also means some paperwork and it's best to check the requirements about passport validity and visas as soon as possible. Sometimes it can take quite long to get a visa.
Another thing you should do as soon as you've booked your plane tickets is get travel insurance. ALWAYS get travel insurance! This won't only protect you in case you'd need medical care but also for e.g. loss of luggage, in case of cancellation or if you have to be repatriated.
