I love making travel plans! I spend hours reading about my next destination on the internet or in travel guides, looking for the cheapest flight and hotels, information about transportation, the best sights, etc. It really makes me feel a little bit like I'm there already. On top of that, planning everything myself, I'm usually able to save us a lot of money.

I collect a lot of information before leaving, but I don't like planning every minute of every day in advance. It's really all about avoiding losing time looking for hotels or arriving at a museum the day it's closed without losing sight of spontaneity and last-minute ideas.
